Transition to College and Careers graduate Frances Rivera-Diaz receives a National Science Foundation Scholarship

Holyoke Community College-Adult Learning Center student and Pre-STEM Academy and Transition to College and Careers graduate Frances Rivera-Diaz received the prestigious National Science Foundation Scholarship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S-STEM Scholarship).  The scholarship will allow Frances to explore a wide range of STEM studies at Holyoke Community College to find the field that best suits her career goals.  In their award letter to Frances, the scholarship committee commented:  “Your enthusiasm, demonstrated interest, and academic talents are what stood out to the S-STEM Scholars’ faculty.”  Congratulations Frances!!
